How to Import a Video in GoPro Studio

The footages transferred to a Mac using the Photos application are unable to be imported into GoPro Studio. Unlike iPhoto, this new Photo application converts the GoPro MP4 into .m4v file while exporting outside the program. This photos application was introduced on Mac OS 10.10 and are different from the previous photos application, iPhoto. So, how to fix it?

  • Initially Open Photos
  • Then select the video files to export
  • File > Export > Export Unmodified Original
  • Next, click Export
  • Then save it to an easy to view location
  • Hit on Export Originals
  • Once the exported files are in the folder, import MP4 from there into GoPro Studio.
